Tomorrow

A Hunters for Hire book.

What if a beautiful rebel princess, on the run from an evil government, fell in love with the pirate who rescued her and with the bounty hunter who captured her? And what if the pirate and the bounty hunter used to be lovers?

Princess Cerise Chessienne has the power to enslave men with sex. But she’s never used it. Until now.

Regan is the most feared pirate in the galaxy, renowned for two things—his temper and his loyalty to the princess.

When bounty hunter Tie captures Cerise he gives in to his desires. Now the two are addicted to sex with each other. Then Cerise leads Tie to his long-lost lover Regan, and Tie realizes that tomorrow—the day he starts his life over—has arrived.

The Amalgamation wants to execute all three of them. So what are a beautiful princess, a pirate, and a philosophical bounty hunter to do? Have amazing sex, of course. Oh, and lead the rebellion while avoiding capture.

Note:  Contains male/male/female ménage scenes, including male/male sex.

The two men were standing there glaring at one another when she rushed back out. Tie hooked an arm around her waist and brought her back in front of him. “She was meant for better.” Regan’s tone was harsh, accusing and Tie froze behind her.

“I was never good enough, was I?” Tie asked quietly.

Cerise was confused. What were they talking about? Good enough for what?

“She’s a fucking princess. She’s going to rule the galaxy when the smoke from this war clears. She needs a man who can rule at her side. Someone the people will respect and follow. Do you honestly believe a renegade Super Soldier is that man?” Regan’s voice kept getting louder, his volatile temper rising with each word.

“Is that why you haven’t taken her?” Tie asked softly, his hands slowly caressing her stomach and sides.

Regan hissed and stepped toward Tie and Cerise’s hands automatically came up to stop him, slamming against his hard chest. Regan’s gaze swung down and locked on hers. “Yes,” he whispered, “God damn you, yes.”

Cerise couldn’t hide her shock. “Regan…” she gasped. Suddenly so many things fell into place. He’d always seemed larger than life to Cerise, his abilities greater than any other man she knew—until Tie. She’d always believed part of that was because of her feelings for him. And his eyes—the same flat, dull brown as Tie’s had been. She’d often wondered how Regan managed to have such empty eyes with such a legendary temper. Her shock was replaced by anger and hurt. “Why? Why didn’t you tell me?”

Regan’s look was pitying. “To what end, Cerise? Only a few people know. It’s not who I am anymore. And it wouldn’t have removed the barrier between us. It would only have strengthened it.”

“A barrier that exists only in your mind! God damn it, I had a right to know! To know who you are. To know how you felt. I am as much outlaw as you Regan. The Amalgamation wants me dead. Every day I evade capture is a miracle. I—“

“No!” Regan cut her off angrily. “It’s not a miracle. I make it happen Cerise. I protect you. It’s my responsibility. I keep you alive and safe so that you can be the leader you were meant to be.” He gestured angrily at Tie. “And this is how you repay me? By fucking the first bounty hunter who slips under my sensors?”

Tie stiffened behind her. “I’m a hell of a lot more than that, Egan, and you know it.”

“Egan?” Cerise looked quickly at Tie over her shoulder and turned to see Regan wince. “Is that your real name?”

Regan’s face closed off. “No. My real name is Regan.”

Cerise shook off Tie’s hands and marched away from both of them. She stopped and stood with arms akimbo and glared at them. “I am so sick of the lies! Finnegan the bounty hunter is really Tie the Super Soldier. But he doesn’t tell me until after I’ve fucked him! Until after I’ve enslaved him! And now the one solid thing in my life I thought I could trust, you Regan, you’ve been lying to me since the day we met! Regan is Egan, Super Soldier.” She shook her head in disgust, but it was disgust at herself. “I must be the most gullible woman in the galaxy.”

“What do you mean, enslave him?” Regan asked sharply.

“What am I supposed to call you now? Egan?”

He answered her through gritted teeth. “Regan. I told you I was Regan.”

“Why? Why the pretense? Your secret is out.”

“It’s not a pretense!” Regan shouted at her. He grabbed her arm and hauled her over to him. “Regan is my name. It’s the name I chose. Egan, Tie, those are Super Soldier names. Not even names. Codes, taken from our serial numbers. We were monsters bred in a lab and they didn’t even give us names, Cerise. They gave us numbers. Mine was EG-46872N. And Tie’s was T1-45897E. Do you see? Do you see how we named ourselves? When I left the SS, I left it all behind, the name, the number. I am Regan. That is who I am.”

Cerise could hardly breathe past the emotion clogging her throat. What had they done to them? Both men had referred to themselves as monsters. But they weren’t, they weren’t. She raised a shaking hand to his cheek but he jerked his head away.
